Bing Maps Integration, Update Rollup 13, and the iPad experience!

Bing Maps Integration for Dynamics CRM

With the December 2012 Service Update, there is now a Bing Map control to render maps right in the process flow. This control shows up in the new Account, Contact and Lead records, in both new forms and classic forms. In both renderings a link is shown that you can click and jump to Bing Maps, or display the map directly on the form.

We currently leverage Bing maps to render complex spatial data such as locations of wells and rigs or to assist users in matching incidents to nearby drilling sites. Have another idea? Contact our team and let us enhance your Dynamics CRM user experience!

Update Rollup 13

The CRM 2011 Update Rollup 13 (UR13) release is now available both on the Download Center and on Microsoft Update. Besides bug fixes and minor improvements, this update rollup adds support for Windows Server 2012. We recommend that you install it if you have already upgraded to UR12. Customers subscribed to our maintenance plans are being contacted now to schedule the install.
